Modelling in health, biology and the environment
The team uses mathematical models to solve problems in health, biology and the environment.
Our modelling focuses on the use of differential equations. Current projects include modelling nitrogen waste in catchments from intensive farming, tumour cell growth and physiological modelling.
Our research areas
- Epidemiological modelling
- Modelling physiology (diabetes)
- Environmental modelling, in particular pollution concerns
- Agricultural systems analysis
- Farm waste effluent in catchment areas
- Tumour cell growth and drug development
